This mission isn’t just about books—it’s about hope. I’m currently seeking partners, sponsors, and supporters to help make this vision a reality.

As the Community Visionary Ambassador for Black Children’s Book Week 2026 – Phoenix Metro, I am honored to help shape a powerful week of storytelling, healing, and Black joy for our youth and families.

This year, I’m collaborating with several incredible Black authors from across the Phoenix area to bring you a full week of impactful, family-centered events — from book signings and library storytimes to community read-alouds, fatherhood-focused literacy events, and a “Family Reunion” bus tour finale in Tucson!
